The best Olympian ever? It's gotta be Michael Phelps. The American swimmer has the most gold in Olympics history after winning all eight of his events, seven in record time in Beijing. However awesome his success is, Phelps believes that failure to go eight for eight in the gold is in fact a failure… Another Olympic headliner is American James Blake, who stunned the world with his defeat over tennis star Roger Federer in straight sets, ending Federer's first attempt at a singles Olympic medal. Blake was the lone American to make it this far, and came into the games ranked eighth in the nation, while Federer has held the number one ranking for over four years straight… Great news for the Hawks. After losing Josh Childress when he decided to play in Greece, Josh Smith re-signed with Atlanta as a five-year, $58 million deal. The Hawks matched the offer sheet Smith signed with the Grizzlies. Atlanta also signed Ronald Murray and Maurice Evans to make up for the stunning departure of Childress… Brett Favre's days with the Packers may be over, but Green Bay has moved on. Favre's old backup Aaron Rodgers became the first Packers QB other than Favre to start a game since 1992 when Rodgers took a snap against the Bengals.
