The Dark Knight
The most anticipated movie of the summer was well worth the wait. Christian Bale stars in the lead role as Batman.
The one thing that makes this movie unforgettable is the role of the Joker, as played by the late Heath Ledger.
I was intrigued from the beginning of the movie. The Dark Knight is filled with action, and also great one-liners from the Joker, audiences will be sure to recite for years.
This is definitely a must see. Some have even said this movie is one of the greatest they have ever seen.
As for me, I would highly recommend this movie to anyone, because it is just that good. It has broken many records in grossing, and is without a doubt the best in the Batman series of films. Believe the hype, this one will be extremely tough to top.
Pineapple Express
The boys of The 40 Year Old Virgin are back at making movie goers laugh.
Pineapple Express stars Seth Rogen, who is also in Superbad and Knocked Up. In the comedy, Rogen finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, and ends up witnessing a murder.
Working alongside Rogen is James Franco who you may remember as Harry Osborn from the Spiderman trilogy. Franco plays the role of a drug middleman and Rogen's right-hand man.
As a disclosure, this movie is about a drug war and has many drug references.
If you are offended by such material, you probably will not like it.
However, if you are like myself and you do not get offended, this movie will have you rolling in the aisle laughing.
I give it 4 paws, only because the content might be offensive.
