Turok

by Tim Suda

I traditionally haven't been a shoot-'em-up type gamer, but Turok wasn't bad. Most of my first player fighting experience has been in the Halo series, so this game was a surprise.

The amazing graphics mixed with the great storyline and campaign make Turok extremely fun. Though, some of the graphics for the game were a little odd. The graphics of buildings could have been better. There was the gore that just didn't make sense. There are other glitches here and there, like the game isn't completely finished, but they don't rob the fun of the game.

The gameplay is one of the best parts about Turok. The artificial intelligence is near perfect. Dinosaurs attack in groups, and the soldiers have the ability to flank or run away when appropriate.

Turok is a great game. It's a game that can be beaten very quickly.
